The article "Prediction of the gender inequality index based on data-driven interpretable ensemble learning methods", authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakan ÖZDEMİR from the Department of Business Administration along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Batin Latif AYLAK from the Turkish-German University, Dr. Celal ÇAKIROĞLU from Eastern Michigan University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut BAĞCI from Marmara University, was published in the Socio-Economic Planning Sciences journal, which is indexed in SSCI and SCI-Expanded and falls into the Q1 category.

Opening Lecture of the Department of Political Science and International Relations

Our Faculty Dean and Economics Department faculty member, Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu, has published the results of her research project, carried out with the support of the DAAD in collaboration with the Chair of Innovation Economics at the University of Hohenheim and Prof. Dr. Andreas Pyka, as an open-access article titled “Towards a Sustainable Bioeconomy in Türkiye: Challenges, Opportunities, and Pathways for EU Collaboration” in the journal European Planning Studies.

Prof. Dr. Müge KLEIN gave a presentation introducing our University, the Department of Business Administration, and the Department of Economics. Later, the main building of LMU was toured.

The 2024-2025 Spring Semester Academic Board Meeting of our faculty was held on June 11, 2025, at the Conference Hall of the School of Foreign Languages. During the meeting, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu provided information about academic and administrative processes. Following a speech by Faculty Coordinator Assoc. Selin Karaca Varinlioğlu's Doctoral Success

Selin Karaca Varinlioğlu, a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, has earned her Doctorate degree from the Doctorate Programme in Business Administration at the Institute of Social Sciences at Yıldız Technical University with the thesis titled ‘The Relationship Between CEOs' Impression Management Tactics in Traditional and Digital Communication Channels and Corporate Sustainability Performance.’

The article was ca-authored by Ebru Turhan, Julie Smith, Funda Tekin and Senem Aydın-Düzgit.
